

If you close only the Web browser, there is no guarantee that your session is closed. By logging off, you close the session between the client and the server. Log off after you finish using Outlook Web Access.

The options icon on the left toolbar is for you to set up an “Out-of-Office” assistant or change your password. The Find icon on the left toolbar is for you to search through the global address list for email addresses and contact information of University of Rochester faculty and staff. The contacts icon on the left toolbar is for you to store personal contact information, email addresses, etc. The calendar icon on the left toolbar is for you to store information about dates, appointments, scheduled meetings, etc. Please be aware that this name check feature does not look up entries in your personal contact list. When you are composing a new message, you can type a full or partial name in the “To:” field and click the Check Name icon to compare the name you wrote to entries on the Global Address List. Checking Names against the Global Address List When you’re ready to send it, click the Send icon at the top-left of the message window. Enter a “To:” address to the person you wish to send a message.
